The InStep software for Windows includes a royalty free subroutine device driver ready to be utilized by your application. The software is designed to be used from ANY programming language that is capable of file input/output (I/O). You can even control your machine from an Excel Spreadsheet!
The subroutines include four axis linear and two axis circular interpolation, ramping, keyboard interactive jog with dispense, jog key selection, external device control, synchronized motion to external pulse source for threading or wire EDM, and more. Requires OptiStep Plus or QuickPhase motion controller. Not for use with MN series controllers.
The package includes the Instep Device Drivers, Instep Command Test program, an Excel spreadsheet example and source code for all examples.
