Variable Speed Spindle Controller
This new option is now available for 3 phase spindle motor machines. It displays the exact RPM of the motor on a nice digital display and allows you to turn a small knob on the front panel to set it. As a side benefit, it also takes the place of a phase converter and can run on single phase 208-240 or 3 phase power. No more changing belts. The system includes a remote keypad and cable, a custom made bracket, and easy setup instructions.
Also under program control, use the S code to automatically set your spindle speed. For example, placing the command S500 in your program will set the tool rotation to 500 RPM... Couldn't be simpler! The commands M3, M4, and M5 are used to select ON CW, ON CCW, and OFF respectively. The software is intelligent enough to wait for the commanded speed to come up before begining the cut.
Includes Inverter, custom made bracket, mounting hardware and remote keypad and computer interface serial cables. requires a serial port or a USB to serial converter for computer command.
Update... Now you can use this for automatic tapping. Very cool.
